Ok so for all of my nursey students/followers or for anyone that wants to read a REALLY great blog. You seriously need to head over to "Life in the Clinic" and follow it. This is written by a fantastic pediatric NP! She writes about interesting cases, frustrating job experiences and just every day things that us nursing students will probably one day deal with, plus she pretty stinking smart! So, seriously, why are you still reading this blog? Head over there RIGHT NOW & check it out!!! :D
So as you can see I have GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!! I am SO happy that nursing school is over, but can we say holy terrified? Tomorrow is the NCLEX & I feel thoroughly unprepared. Fortunately our school provided us with the HURST Review and even though I have been studying this for about 2 weeks now I still feel completely terrified to actually take the test. Of my former classmates I know of one so far who has failed....so scary... The rest of them are chugging along & passing on a daily basis, hopefully I will be one of them! But to rewind, here are a few pics from graduation & my graduation party that my precious husband & sister threw for me: That's my baby girl to my right, she looks taller than me! I seriously couldn't have been cheesing any harder!! My nursing bestie & his bf hiding in the back! My study buddy! My inlaws, aren't they precious!! Definitely one of the best days of my life!
Wow, Candi! You made my day. Thanks for the boost! I just started writing the blog as an outlet, and it has evolved into something else.
ReplyDeleteI like reading your blog too...although it stirs up all those memories of nursing school (and grad school) that I wanted to keep buried...all I can say is, keep going, it will be worth it!
Haha, thanks! Yeah I really love your blog. There aren't really a lot of blogs of NP's who are in practice where they actually talk about the stuff that goes on. There used to be a REALLY great one but she stopped writing it after a few years, so I am so thankful for yours!
Deletei know... i found her thru you :)
ReplyDeletelove all the interesting things she encounters.
Me too. I love too that she doesn't just post about medical stuff but about real life stuff like work place dynamics etc.
